Matching artists with production companies shouldn’t be so hard
The goal of every creative company is to deliver the very best product, on time and on budget. The quality of the product is directly related to the strength of the team. However, the road to delivery is fraught with unexpected twists and turns and sometimes the scope of a project can quickly change. So fear and frustration set in.
At the end of a project, the freelancer fears the uncertainty inherent in finding their next gig. And at the end of a project the studio has a similar fear even as they are ramping down, unsure of where they will find the people they need when the next project comes in. Both sides have the same frustration: in our modern era, this entire process should be simple. Right?
