Oz the Great and Powerful
Senior Compositor
Composited live action foreground, live action crowd, CG crowd, and several FX fire renders into shot. FX fire renders never quite looked/worked right, so I combined the best of several of them in this shot.
Tools:
Nuke
1:24-1:29
Oz the Great and Powerful
Senior Compositor
Combined various CG elements, live action waterfall, CG waterfall, and mtpnt sky into shot.

Right and left sides of bg corn stalks are from different plates, both with differently moving cameras. Combined them into wider shot along with more CG corn stalks. Foreground is also CG along with several characters.
Tools:
Nuke
1:38-1:44
The Amazing Spider-Man
Lead Compositor
Along with leading a team of around a dozen, I also established the look of the sequence with this fully CG shot. What's funny is that the sky color is what the client spent the most time dialing back and forth.
Tools:
Nuke
1:44-1:47
The Amazing Spider-Man
Lead Compositor
Along with leading a team of around a dozen, I composited this all CG shot and dialed it heavily from what the renders looked like.

Green Lantern
Senior Compositor and Lighter
Had never lit before this show. Learned lighting in Katana and lit and rendered all elements. Then I composited the shot and created complex glow plasma look from very simple FX elements.
Tools:
Nuke & Katana
2:00-2:04
Green Lantern
Senior Compoitor and Lighter
Lit and composited all three of the shots in this sequence. In Katana I established the look of interior of ship and even did material edits to create desired look. Then I composited the shot and created the glow plasma explosion look from simple FX elements.
Tools:
Nuke & Katana
2:04-2:06
Green Lantern
Senior Compositor and Lighter
Lit and composited CG elements and live action plate into shot. Fire required combining several elements, and "lantern" effect required a lot of hand tuning.
Tools:
Nuke & Katana
2:06-2:11
Green Lantern
Senior Compositor and Lighter
Lit and composited all elements for these two shots. "Parallax" character required balancing a large number of passes for each shot.

Alice in Wonderland

Led a team of nearly 20 artists on several large sequences, one of which was nominated for Best Compositing in a Feature at the VES awards. Established a lot of the "looks" in the Throne Room, and created templates for use by the entire team.

Alvin and the Chipmunks
Lead Compositor
Lead Compositor for team of around 15 artists, most of which were quite green. Did lots of training and our team did quite well.
Also created the entire template for Theo's glasses and the lens refraction. Template was pretty much plug and play independent of what the glass was refracting behind it (plate, CG, itself, etc).
