Rigger/Animator
A ton of work to be completed quickly (surprise) I had to rig the character and animate it. There were two shots featuring it, this was especially tricky as the terrain was uneven and it's rendered at 4K, which highlights every single glitch.

Everything
A personal project to amuse myself and practice some Arnold and Nuke, as well as ZBrush. The background structure was fairly tedious to model, but it's made up of four segments that are symmetrical, and the floor has a repeating pattern that (hopefully) can't be noticed but sped up the modelling somewhat.

A series of animation (lots) done for the football world cup. It was animated in XSI. There was supposed to be a guy in the pitch dressed up in the same way. Therefore, the general style of the motion was supposed to match that of a guy acting inside a weird outfit.

Another shot for "Rise of Animals", featuring the first land-faring fish. The shots in this project were all extremely long. The water sim was done by someone else. I had to figure out a way in these shots to export the baked meshes to Max, because the person lighting it only did Max.

Another job done in XSI. There is a real pig trotting along in the shots, the others are 3D. Can you tell which is which? We had to create several cycles as well. We were two animators in this project, and the client was very tricky ('faster!' 'no, slower!','cartoonier!', 'no, it needs to look real!'

As tedious as it looks. Every piece had to be animated and had to look stop motion. But I think the result looks pretty. We did it using blend shapes in XSI. The director was exceptionally good and knew exactly what he wanted, which helped.

Still is, I think, the best animation I've ever produced. A director who knew what to ask for, a pleasant project environment, and only one character per shot! Near perfection. The antennae had to be done in FK.

A yoghurt commercial, where I animated all the 3d elements in the foreground. The background characters (on the buildings) were animated by someone else. Another very labour intensive project.

I animated all the insects in the shot. Nothing much more to say, except that matching the existing camera move to the beetle racing through was extremely tedious.

Another David Attenborough project, this time featuring an immensely long shot with five quadruped skeletons an extremely tight deadline and another endless shot to animate after this (which was very technical). The challenge was splitting the work properly and knowing what to get away with.

Animator/rigger
I rigged the baby and animated all the elements in the shot (but not the sparkly effects). It was a fun project to work on.
