I was the Previz Lead on the Monte Carlo chase sequence. I oversaw the rest of the team with regards to their previz sequences.

It might look like a pretty standard formation, as the bikes pull into shot, but we went through about a million different variations they could enter, before we settled on this very basic intro...

I wanted my previz to inspire and be descriptive of what the animators could do. So I hit some basic poses with Julian to indicate his flamboyant nature...
The final animation of Julian was done by Rani Naamani, who is a fantastic comic animator. His animation makes me laugh...

This was a very complicated shot, as it starts on the back of the RV, and then tracks around the corner as the bikes whiz past the camera. I put everything onto one motion path, and then animated all the elements (camera & characters) separately. So I was able to move things at different speeds without getting the horrible 'rubber band' effect.

I pitched this pendulum shot to the directors and it made it into the movie. Very happy about that.
-I built and rigged the previz setup that drove the plane, the chain and the camera. A little tricky, but worked out.

This entire sequence where Dubois is crashing through an office block was part of the pitch to the directors to illustrate how tough she was. They responded really well, and it made it into the movie. I animated (previz) Dubois, the camera and all effects, plus built many of the rough stand in props.

I choreographed all of Duboui's actions, making her incredibly robust and fierce. I also did all the camera, and rough dynamics, along with rough editing choices. This was a really fun sequence to previz.

The fact that Dubois jumps out of the window, 30 stories in the air to catch Melman by the neck demonstrates her determination and physical toughness!
