Senior FX TD - Remote Freelance

We’re seeking an experienced FX TD to join our growing team and help us push the boundaries of visual effects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors and leads to produce high-quality RBD and pyro FX.
• Develop performant setups for photorealistic effects.
• Build tools to streamline and optimize workflows.
• Provide slap-comps for review in shot context.
• Ensure timely delivery of FX, adhering to deadlines and studio standards.
• Liaise with upstream departments to minimize production bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Houdini and Maya.
• Strong skills in RBD and pyro systems.
• Solid understanding of the VFX pipeline.
• Proficiency in VEX or Python scripting.
• Working knowledge of compositing tools.
• Keen eye for photorealistic details.

Remote Work Expectations: This role requires candidates to work with their own software and hardware setup. Luminairi will provide workflows for seamless collaboration and file exchanges.
