NYC on set VFX Supervisor for Gotham TV series for www.CoSAVFX.com where I attend pre-prod meetings, tech scouts, deal with all dept. on the implementation of VFX shots. Work with props, Set dec, scenic, Grip, Camera, and electric to ensure the shots have the best possible outcome before we start shooting.
On-set supervision for both planned VFX and unplanned VFX situations. From technical to the dreaded, Yes we can do that but it will cost $$$$. Knowing when to say yes and no based on the cost of crew vs cost of VFX. Offering Solutions based on that knowledge. Work with LA-based Post production team to ensure they have all the information needed to make accurate budgets.
I have over 25 years working on set and in high-end VFX, starting on Quantel
Paintbox and Dicomed Imaginator as an intern still in High School.
I have lead teams of artists on both large and small projects lasting from as little as a week to several months for a feature. I have been responsible for budgets and making sure jobs come in on or under budget. I have dealt with projects with multiple vendors and making sure all those vendors are cooperating with each other.
