Gantry fight scene. I did 15 shots like this from different angles. The gantry environment was mostly matte painting projections with the exception of a few CG structures.

GR’s CG flaming skull, chest and fire light reflections. Plateprep was done by junior artists in mono (centre eye) then dimentionalised by another vendor. Continuity of GR’s look in night and day time settings. Integration of GR’s CG skull, skull fire, skull smoke, chest skeleton, chest fire and chest smoke FX. Headlight flare effects were created in nuke. Carrigan’s fire and smoke was done by another artist who finished the shot as carrigans FX were still outstanding when I finished GR.

This shot was created using two plates joining at the middle of the hospital. The jeep was patched together from a third shot in which only a portion of it was visible as it drove inbetween obscuring objects.
