I work in the industry for over 20 years now. For the past four years, I’ve worked as a Pipeline TD and before that, I primarily focused on rigging, including work on King Kong at WetaFX, and prior to that, I did modeling.
As a Pipeline TD at Studio Isaranimation, I am responsible for all Maya-related tasks. This includes developing tools for modeling and set dressing, managing data ingestion from external partners, automating data flow between departments, and handling everything related to Yeti and XGen. Since we use ShotGrid as our asset management system, I’m familiar with the Shotgrid API, as well as the Maya Python API, Maya C++ API, AWS API and Tractor API . The Studio Isaranimation pipeline is USD-based, so I also have a solid understanding of USD. Our pipeline primarily runs on Linux.
I've been rigging characters and props for many movies and commercials. I wrote an autorigger, a pipeline tool, C++-maya-plugins and many little maya-tools to make life easier.
