We are looking for a full-time and experienced Unreal Generalist to join our amazing project. 

 

We will only accept applications from artists who are currently based within a 2-hour time zone difference from Wellington, New Zealand. 


Tasks 

  • Create and integrate 3D models, textures, and materials into Unreal Engine. 
  • Set up and optimize lighting, environments, and visual effects to achieve the desired aesthetic and performance goals. 
  • Implement animations and character rigging within Unreal Engine. 
  • Develop and maintain Blueprints and other scripting solutions to bring gameplay mechanics to life. 
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure assets and features meet technical and artistic requirements. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset integration, performance, and compatibility. 
  • Participate in the development of pipelines and workflows to streamline production processes. 

 

Experiences 

  • Proven experience as a Generalist or similar role in game development, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Unreal Engine. 
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine, including Blueprints, materials, lighting, and animation systems. 
  • Strong skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and UV mapping using software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar. 
  • Experience with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows. 
  • Solid understanding of game development pipelines and processes. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other departments. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
