Responsibilities:
- Creation of high-quality animations for characters and props in animation projects.
- Ensure animation consistency, expressiveness, and adherence to artistic and technical guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with rigging, layout, FX, and QC teams to enhance animation integration into production.
- Solve complex animation challenges (Acting and bodymechanic).
- Being an example for the rest of the team
- Optimize animation workflows and contribute to pipeline improvements.
- Review, refine, and finalize animations based on director and supervisor feedback.
- Ensure the correct export, implementation, and technical functionality of animations within the production pipeline.
Requirements:
- Complete mastery of bodymechanic and acting.
- Mastery of animation timing.
- Mastery of storytelling.
- Understanding and adapting to the movie's style in a short timespan.
- Identifies the best path forward to obtain a superior level of detail without going over the bid.
- Knows how to add creative details into the shot that sets it apart in regards to quality.
- Solves complex action or acting shots.
- Low number of retakes.
- Familiarity with audiovisual language.
- Experience with animated feature films.
- Deep knowledge of Maya in regards to its use in animation.
- Solving of technical problems..
- Is effective in resolving the retake, should another person's shot be re-assigned to them.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
- Reviews and proposes improvements for rigs.
- Organizes tasks in order to always meet deadlines.
