The CG Supervisor is responsible for determining the technical approach and the requirement s needed to achieve the desired look for specific project(s), as well as developing the pipeline and identifying processes and procedures to improve the workflow.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The candidate will have to work in the CG department and will collaborate with other department heads to guarantee project development during both the beginning phase and the whole production cycle.
• It will be their responsibility to interpret and implement the director’s and the VFX supervisors’ creative objectives respecting the budget.
• They will supervise the artists’ team linked to the project, working with the pipeline department too.
• It will, also, be their job to ensure that there will be a clear and precise communication between artists, production team, development team and department supervisors to guarantee the assets and shots delivery that respect requested quality standards and pre-established deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of proven experience as CG supervisor or lead sequence.
• Excellent creative and aesthetic judgment
• Experience with interpreting the client’s vision and share it with the intern artists’ team.
• Reducing complex problems to simple solutions skills.
• Good and complete knowledge of the VFX pipeline.
• Experience with collaboration with research and development teams and giving, testing and distribute new items specifics skills in a production environment.
• Calm maintaining skills under a lot of pressure and in case of very short time deadlines.
• Maya expert with good skills with other sector’s specific standard softwares.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills.
• Strong leadership skills with good motivational qualities and initiative.
• Good technic and artistic skills.
