Wrote a Maya API plug-in which uses the mesh data exchanging C++ library for reading in supported mesh cache formats and works as all-purpose mesh cache loader.
Made a C++ library, inspired by Walt Disney open source project Partio, for converting input mesh cache format to specified output format. This library provides hook for per-format file reader/writer and saves read-in data to central data container for exporting. Practical usage for this library is serving as back-end of a CLI which allows manual or programmatic conversion.
Wrote a Python tool for baking Maya instancer geometries to RealFlow bin format for cross-application geometry data exchanging.
Integrated RealFlow 4 & 5 into FX pipeline with render farm submission(to Alfred) for distributed simulation.
Implemented a wave-spray sim tool in RealFlow 4(written by RealFlow Python Event scripting) for large scale ocean simulation. This tool includes an algorithm for analyzing input wave surface animation(in our case, from Houdini), and then emit spray particles based on threshold calculation.
