I took a season off from animating and designing to catch as many powder days as possible. It was a once in a life time thing if you're lucky like me.
    Some accomplishments while there:
    I was
    cross-trained across every position,
selected to represent the department on the company safety committee,
    promoted and asked to return,
and I had almost 70 days on my snowboard.

  • Animator

    Sony Computer Entertainment America

    January 2011 - November 2011

I started on the tail end of Infamous 2 as a facial animator using Maya. On the next project, Uncharted 3 I was a body animator cleaning up Mocap and interactions with props and environments. It was a last minute scramble to meet the deadline. I think the team did a great job of packing that much work into that little amount of time. I think I did a pretty fantastic job considering the circumstances.

  • CG generalist

    POSSIBLE

    September 2010 - January 2011

I came on as one of the first employees for this company in a tiny office in Burbank, CA. I was a part of some growing pains that has now landed them in one of the coolest places to work in LA, The Brewery. While I was with them I helped work on Projects for Target, GM, DeadMau5, Gatorade with Lupe Fiasco, Common and Jessica Huston as well as their in house indie short IP Ticky. Very cool guys at Possible.

  • Animator

    The Famous Group

    December 2010 - December 2010

I came in the week before Christmas. It seemed like everyone was in last minute panic mode with only 2 months left to go on the project. Which coming off my last project makes me wonder why this project never made it to its target. 2 months seems like an eternity. Anyway, I already had plans to go home on that day before Christmas eve so I went home and that was it for me on the project. I animated Lexus Cars and Cameras for that week prior. It rained constantly in LA that week. Just non stop.

    Shoko

    August 2006 - September 2006

This was my first 3d contract where I was given the brief: Create from scratch a realistic charcter like "Max Headroom" and animate two and a half minutes of lip sync in five weeks for a business confrence. I finished the animation on time and as I was burning it to DVD I got the call that the main sponser pulled the plug and the show was canceled. It was never used but I was still compensated. This was for mayoral candidate Lisa Prager.
