Steven Hensley's innate artistic and creative nature came to light at a young age with his continuous drawings and paintings which garnered him awards even in elementary school. His parents always supported and encourage his art which only further expanded his creativity.

Early exposure to the internet in childhood inadvertently helped Steven find the medium of his choice and passion. As with many boys in the 90's, movies like Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park" and Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy had such a profound impact that it inspired Steven to pursue the field of entertainment. He dreamed of bringing dinosaurs to life and creating creatures that live and breathe, but could only exist in the computer. At 17, Steven enrolled at the ART INSTITUTE OF CALIFORNIA, Santa Monica to pursue his dreams.

After completing four years of art school, he had exposure to many art mediums ranging from tradition animation, storyboarding, concept art, anatomy, modeling and texturing, compositing, etc. To say that the university provided him experience in many fields would be an understatement. His passions for creating characters in the computer landed him his first job at Luxoflux Activion as a Jr. Character Artist in 2005. He had finally found his place in the world.

He graduated in 2006 with a B.S. in Media Arts & Animation and went on to work for such companies as Neversoft Activision, Jim Henson's Creature Shop, Digital Dimension, Duck Studios, Crazy Pixel Productions, The Third Floor Inc and Digital Domain. He worked on triple A title games, commercials, shorts and blockbuster movies like Joseph Kosinski's "Oblivion" Alan Taylor "Thor 2 The Dark World" Zack Snyder's "300 Rise of an Empire" Rob Stromberg "Maleficent" Ben Stiller's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" Len Wiseman's "Die Hard 4 Live Free or Die Hard" and Peter Segal's "Get Smart." Always striving to become a better artist, Steven Hensley is a creative, enthusiastic professional. With an excellent grasp of the latest creative tools, and proven problem-solving skills, he is an achievement-driven, responsible, individual who is committed whole-heartedly to his passion.
