Initially, Mike's career began in the world of preschool television where he worked on projects such as: Abby’s Flying Fairy School (Sesame Street co-production) and Kate and Mim-Mim. As his experiences and leadership skills grew in the industry, opportunities to grow into more senior positions arose such as Lead on Bob the Builder. These leadership positions allowed Mike to combine his animation experience with his passion for story. Additionally, as a Lead on Bob, Mike mentored and trained junior animation staff building a strong team to support the studio in producing high-quality animation with consideration of time and cost budgets.
Over the past five years, Mike has been working on animated films. This change was made to continue honing his skills as an animator and also as a storyteller to a feature quality. In working on these feature-length projects (Sausage Party, Captain Underpants, Hotel Transylvania, etc.), Mike gained the ability to see the production from a big picture perspective and how each shot contributes to the final finished film.
It is Mike's goal to be in an environment where he can continue to learn and grow.
