During my previous experience as a video and lighting technician I felt more and more curios for what vfx artists were doing with digital lighting and vfx in cinema, advertising and video games. I wanted to discover how what I was doing with practical elements could be brought into a computer-generated scene to achieve the magic and expression of a new reality. So, I packed my bags and started the exiting journey of becoming a VFX artist.

I successfully completed a BSc(Hons) in Digital Arts at Edinburgh Napier University and I had the opportunity to gain working experience at Eclipse Presentations creating motion graphics and editing on a variety of promotional projects for corporate clients. But I considered that I wasn´t going in the direction I was looking for so I enrolled in a thrilling and challenging MA in Digital Effects at Bournemouth University. After that and some time for maternity leave, I started working as compositor for the feature film “Mirette” doing prep, clean up and roto jobs, and I also created the effects and compositing for the short movie “Dark Lights”. I continue working as freelance for different small clients and projects and exploring how to capture the light in conceptual photography. During the last months I´ve been very fortunate to work for Fix FX as vfx artist, mainly for “Outlander” series 5 on prep, clean up, roto and tracking jobs but also doing paint work, working on the consistence of the scene and exploring 3D projections for matte painting techniques obtaining a very good feedback from the series´ vfx supervisor.

During my work experience and studies I have gained a good understanding of the vfx process to create scenes managing Nuke and other software like Houdini, Photoshop or After Effects. I have learnt to work under pressure in different situations, ask questions and share knowledge, take notes, be careful with perfectionism but observe every detail keeping an eye on the deadline.

I am a positive and passionate person who loves challenges and I am confident that I would be an excellent addition to your team.

As a result we achieve a very good feedback from the series´ vfx supervisor.
