Darryl Purdy

Some days I believe I'm an artist, most others, a charlatan.

Cinematic Director / Senior Animator / 14 yrs

Montréal, Canada

Hire Me
Like many other animators my age I was raised on a steady diet of WB and Disney animation (with a side of DC and Marvel comics). Saturday mornings I spent with Bugs and the gang and Sunday evenings were reserved for Walt Disney and his Magical Kingdom. I always loved to draw and tell stories but, as cliche as it sounds, It wasn't until I saw Jurassic Park that I thought animation might be a career for me. Luckily I found a small school willing to teach me how to use 3D animation software (add in a lot of pain and persistence) and here I am.
