    I was part of the immersive technology venture-builder Oarsis where I learnt about the lean start-up method and how to solve problems based on real market and social needs.

    As co-founder and CTO, I lead a team of developers and designers through the ideas, iteration and building stages of a prototype augmented reality storytelling application that launched on the Play Store in summer 2018 so we could gain real-time feedback. I also sourced and amended 3D models and animations, and I researched and tested technological solutions such as developing in Unity, using Snapchat's Lens Studio, building for Google's ARCore, and exploring Magic Leap's Lumin. I managed the overall project, ensuring schedules and deadlines were suitable for the team and clients, and criteria was followed for Google Play.

    It was a fantastic six month journey, and I also took on a business development role; I visited conferences, networking events and potential clients in order to generate new business leads, and gain user and market feedback, which was rewarding.
