Currently I am contributing to various assets. I am responsible for building, rigging and simulating the internal anatomy ( tissue and skin ) of a creature, in order to drive the final deformation of the skin by defining animation controls and rigging puppets to be used by animation and other departments.
I work closely with various departments, especially Modelling, Animation, and Shots and collaborate with the Creature Cloth/Hair TDs to deliver dynamic, realistic creatures.
Using scripts and snippets to make production workflow faster has added to my debugging skills which is a very important part while transitioning to a TD role.
Along with prioritizing my current role, I have been involved in training new and mentoring new members of creatures.
