I am a Visual Effects Compositor who loves to work with Nuke.
With a total experience of 14+ years in a fast and furious production environment, I have learned to prioritize, troubleshoot and respond with solutions to both the technical and creative challenges arising in a compositing pipeline. My recent experiences on several projects have helped me in this regard and I would gladly help team members who wish to learn the tricks of the trade.
Also, I love to travel, read comics, watch movies, try different cuisines, take photos of everyday life in my free time and being a tech enthusiast means that I am never bored.

I was working at Fluiidmask Studios in the capacity of a Senior Compositor since the past 10 months and I have gained some invaluable experience from them. I was also responsible for handling a sequence of shots on most shows in a co-lead capacity.
Key Accomplishments:
- Collaborated with Supervisors and CGI Leads to establish looks & concepts for the big shots keeping continuity & creative requirements of the overall sequence in mind.
- During production, aided my colleagues and seniors when they faced compositing problems related to Keying, Camera Projection & Clean-ups in Nuke. Identified, troubleshot and provided solutions to technical & creative issues in a timely manner. My production knowledge of Nuke was greatly enhanced by this experience.
- Efficiently handled highly complex to complex composites that would require many man-days work and delivered a quality output surpassing the client’s expectations while also meeting deadlines.

I was employed at Riva Animation & VFX in the capacity of a Visual Effects Compositor Consultant from October 2015 until May 2016. Integrating 2D, 3D and Live Action along with Viz. 2.5D Camera Projection in Nuke X, Multi-layer & CGI Multi-pass compositing, Green Screen matte extraction; Set extension, Wire and marker clean-ups were some of my responsibilities.
Key Accomplishments:
- Designed the overall look of several key shots, which gave my supervisors and leads confidence that I could take directions and deliver the output they expected of me. That also meant that had to pay great attention to detail keeping in mind the director’s vision.
- Introduced Nuke X’s multiple camera projection techniques for cleanups and point cloud integration for realistic 2.5D projection to colleagues. Can say that I was the go-to person when it came to the above aspects of the compositing pipeline.
- Worked on several multi-layer composites and delivered those much before deadlines.

My work mainly involved converting mono 2D plates to stereoscopic 3D.
Key Accomplishments:
- Got to create and control depth for the 3D Conversion of mono plates with the help of roto shapes and a variety of other compositing techniques. Understanding visual ques was the key to the whole process.
- Helped in elements breakdown process wherein we sorted out VFX elements received from other vendors and incorporated them into the stereo composition, preserving the integrity of the VFX plate and at the same time, utilizing the elements to recreate vital cinematic moments in 3D.
- Handled complex to very complex shots, helping my leads and co-leads with their shots as well.

- My beginnings as a Roto & Paint artist helped me a lot as I provided complex roto shapes and quick paint jobs on shots being worked by other compositors.
