    Responsibilities include:
    - Scheduling and prioritising work for multiple teams/disciplines (~30 people) so that deadlines/milestones are met on time.
    - Help manage and resolve project wide dependencies and impediments.
    - Negotiating with 1st Party (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) to ensure the project passes their submission process.
    - Staffing requirements for the teams I am responsible for.

    Responsibilities include:
    - Provide administration, customisation, training and onsite support for any 3rd party software used in Ubisoft Reflections, these include programs such as Alienbrain, Perforce, Incredibuild, SN-DBS, Fisheye.
    -Developing and maintaining the build processes/procedures (automatic and manual) required throughout production of all projects at the studio.
    -Managing a team of Data Managers who operate these build processes.

  • Toolchain Administrator

    March 2006 - March 2008

    Responsibilities include:
    - Leading a small quality maintenance team to ensure the live toolchain gets constant support while the main tools development team works on major development features.
    - Provide administration, customisation, training and on site support for any 3rd party software used in Ubisoft Reflections, these include programs such as Alienbrain, Perforce and Incredibuild.
    -Designing and developing user interface for tools used by 50+ people during production.

    Note worthy achievements:
    -Managing a team of 10 tools programmers when the Tools Manager and Lead are absent.
    -Supervising a change in SCM (from Alienbrain to Perforce), this included:
    designing new procedures/standards for stored our data on the SCM server; training all staff (100+) in the use of Perforce; deployment of Perforce throughout the whole studio.

    The main responsiblity was to ensure that all tools ready for release to the development team met the standard expected of them and that there were no major problems with them that would prevent the development team from doing their work. I was also the source control administrator (Alienbrain).
