I was in charge of the animation of the main and secondary characters, props and cameras. That was my first and good project with motion capture on a video game industry.
The challenge was to create a realistic animation with mocap datas in a video game engine.

The challenge on this project was to use my knowledge of the quadrupeds body mechanics and maya software, to do :
A start to bound cycle to climb, a stunt to stop.
It was a great moment to animate that short project.

That short project was a step up to me. During my Ubisoft project, I was searching a new challenge to overcome.
I've founded the Brendan Body web site who's talking about the flight. And I've tryed to use that knowledge and my skills to creat an animation of a dragon. (And also some references)
I've tried to animate him like an happy creature who's crusious and player.

Here you can find two of my animation shot on my latest school project.
That was a great experience. Because I've to cheat on this shot.
The different scale of both of the characters was a constraint for the physical interaction. So I've had to scale down the girl, scale up the creature, use the camera shakes to move both of the characters in the scene and I've tried to hide a lot of that kind of tricks to do a good animation.

I was in charge of the animation of the main character, props and camera.
On this shot, the goal was to recreat an other gesture of the woman.
On the data mocap, she was sweeping sand on the camera. Instead, the Animation supervisor suggest to remove rocks on the camera.
So I've cleaned up the hand and arm animation to recreate an appropriate work.

Here was my first acting animation. That was a great experience to try to do the good references. I've recorded myself on camera and that was lot of fun. If I have to do this again. I'll do it with pleasure.

That was one of my school project.
I was working on this shot with a team mate, to try to integrate a creature on a scene outside of the school.
My animation challenge was to use a walk cycle with a direction change, to stop, to start a run cycle.
This work was one of my fist VFX experience that I really enjoyed to do.
