The Tree of Life
senior character animator
Director's brief was to portray a inquisitive, child/dinosaur, off exploring his world away from his mother for the first time. The director worked in a improv style (as he did with his live action cast), so it was a challenge to keep reinventing the performance until he was satisfied.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons.
Facial Performance of Benjamin. Used mocap performance as a starting point but as blend shapes and director's changes evolve through the project, I ended up having to dump the mocap and animate using the actor's reference takes.
