  As a visual artist, a lot of the creative process happens internally, it's really different to have to verbalize it.
  I've gotten a chance to here and there, a month in Kazakhstan two summers ago teaching, the past couple of companies that required me to help with supervision and mentoring less experienced artists and now at the current studio.
  I'm finding that it pushes me to approach every step in comp with a clear purpose and organization. Ultimately making me more efficient at what I do as well as strengthening my trouble shooting skills. It's definitely an experience I'm enjoying quite a bit of. :)

  Unpaid internship for a few months right out of school. I worked 50hrs a week at FFW. Did a lot of PA work but picked up Digital Fusion while I was there. Really worth my time because I made contacts there (for my first gig - Superman Returns! Thanks to Jane and Jared!), as well as getting my feet wet in the industry with dust busting on the Guardian and a few episodes of Ghost Whispers. Dave Fog was my mentor.
