I was the facility effects simulation trainer for new-hires joining the shows Cowboys & Aliens, The Avengers, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, and Transformers 3. Over the course of three months I trained new artists and supervisors in our proprietary simulation software and computer graphics pipeline.
Even though I am no longer the full-time effects trainer, I am often assigned as a mentor to specific artists when fast ramp-up on new technology is required for certain shows.
