I have been working in CG/animation industry for 22 years now, and explored almost everything that could be done, from modeling to advanced programming.
I did my early years in the famous "Ex Machina" company, and for 19 years I work very proudly for Mac Guff which became Illumination Mac Guff in 2009.
I have always been attracted to more and more technical and complicated challenges, in particular in order to improve productivity of all.
I took a good part in helping the society to create the character workflow when when we started making long features in 2006, especially in automating the rigging process, building animation tools around it.
This work allows us to hire junior riggers that can deliver high quality rigs in very short schedules.
Since the coming of Illumination in 2009, this has become my main task, automating processes, evaluating new technical challenges for the upcoming movies and taking strategic decisions in order to prepare a smooth production for all.
I also have advanced skills in many other fields (Modeling / Special Effects / Rendering / Texturing / Compositing / Cloth / Hair / Fur, etc).
Now I want to come back to more graphic projects as a CG artist (short features, movie/series intros, motion design, etc).
