Nikita Pavlov is a long-time professional VFX artist, supervisor, pipeline TD, and fantasy author. A graduate of Cornell and Carnegie Mellon, he has been creating movie magic for over fifteen years, since his debut on "Kung Fu Panda". During his tenure at DreamWorks Animation, he has brought stories to life one pixel at a time, from bridge explosions and swirling martinis to magical beanstalks. He briefly left the hemisphere to explore the last remnants of paradise in Wellington, New Zealand, to work at Weta and hike with the hobbits, before returning to Los Angeles. He now lives in Toronto with his wife, parents-in-law, a tuxedo cat, and two daughters who only put down their books long enough to pick up new ones.
