Michael is currently a Senior Lighting TD at Blue Sky Studios. His lighting credits include Rio 2 (2014), Epic (2013), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), Rio (2011), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009). Along with lighting, he has also received credits as a compositor and sky artist on multiple projects.

Along with his work in Lighting, Michael is co-founder of the education website tdu. tdu is an online school that teaches students the non-animation side of computer animation and visual effects.
