More than 20 years ago, I entered visual effects cutting my teeth in commercials before expanding into television and film. The commercial world taught me to diligently get things done quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality. Working in small to mid-size companies, I've done most everything and am a strong overall 3D generalist with an in-depth knowledge of Maya. My abilities include, but are not limited to; modeling, texturing, rigging, effects dynamics, hair/fur/cloth dynamics, lighting, animation, breaking out renders, tracking. My background and education are in fine art, giving me a firm foundation in traditional techniques and skills. Once I ventured into 3D, I found I could pick up different programs quite quickly and can incorporate new tools and techniques into an established pipeline. I have an even-keeled personality that lends itself well to leading a team of artists or taking direction and working collaboratively in fast-paced, stressful environments..

I was brought onto the team at CoSA to supervise Agents of Shield and also help out on other projects; quickly mastering Modo, their primary render, and also adding to the pipeline my knowledge of Maya. I combine and utilize the strengths of both software programs to accomplish whatever desired effects are needed. Helped in building the 3D pipeline and refined the methodology for accomplishing shots in a fast and efficient way.

Acquired by Look Effects to supervise all aspects of 3D; including, but are not limited to: bidding of jobs, research and development for the creation of look and methodology for desired effects, solving high-level technical issues that arise during production, creating and maintaining the 3D pipeline, staffing, delegation and overseeing of the work, along with working on and finalizing shots. Overseen LOOK Effects grow from a small office in Los Angeles into four international locations.
