After a decade-long international career at DreamWorks Animation and Weta, I returned to Montreal to contribute to major projects such as Blade Runner 2049 at Framestore and Dune at DNEG, where I led the FX teams on both films.
In the last three years, I contributed to seven projects as a CG Supervisor at DNEG, including Spy Kids: Armageddon, 1899 and Peter Pan and Wendy. I also served as an Associate VFX Supervisor, known as DFX Supervisor at DNEG, on the films The Gorge (Apple TV+) in 2023-2024 and Moonshot (HBO Max) in 2021.
On The Gorge, I supervised a complex 250-shot feature featuring large environments, CG vehicles, and extensive FX work. I oversaw asset creation, CG shots, and final compositing, coordinating teams based in Vancouver, Montreal, and India. Although the project is complete, it has not yet been publicly released.
For the production of Moonshot, I was actively involved in supervising VFX in the absence of the assigned supervisor, who was working part-time with our team and the client. Although credited as a CG Supervisor, my role extended to the responsibilities of an Associate VFX Supervisor. I collaborated closely with the client and the internal VFX and production teams, focusing on the artistic aspects of CG, compositing, and technical checks.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong ability to interpret clients’ visions and provide creative solutions to enhance their projects. My background in photography has given me a deeper understanding of composition and lighting, which has proven to be an asset in my work on visual effects.
