I started my currier with Anibrain Digital Studio, Pune as Render Wrangler to Render TD
then move to lighting dept as Jr Lighting Artist to Lighting TD. After 5.7 years of experience in
Anibrain. I have experience in The Mill, Bangalore as Lighting Artist and SpinVFX as Sr. lighting
artist have 2.9 and 1.6 year respectively.
Working closely with VFX/CG Supervisors, lighting Supervisor determine best
approaches to solve 3D challenges and develop final looks. Performs Key lighting, HDRIs
adjustments. - including HDR grading and light extraction. Creating, optimizing and debugging
scene setups. Creates and designs lighting for complex scenes; develops light rigs for simulations,
and effects elements.
Work with artists to troubleshoot and address technical problems at the shot and studio
level. Support tool and technical needs in departments outside of lighting as required. Provide
solutions for techniques such as subsurface scattering and physically plausible shading. Strong
emphasis on optimizing and troubleshooting renders, providing feedback to departments
upstream and render wranglers. Keep Production and the project team informed of the status of
work, issues to be resolved, ramifications of problems encountered and recommend potential
solutions.
