As a mid/senior 3D Character and Creature Artist based in Hamburg, Germany, I had the privilege of working on unannounced AAA and Next-Gen Mobile projects with Goodgame Studios. In the initial stages, I was placed in the Artpool, where I contributed a diverse range of 3D models for various projects. This included creating 3D models for the marketing department and sculpting 3D concept designs for early prototype games, presenting them to the CEO and Product Management. Throughout my time at Goodgame Studios, I collaborated closely with the concept department, art director, and the entire production team, fostering a seamless creative workflow.
In my most recent role, I took on the responsibility of leading the character art team for a game that unfortunately got canceled. However, during my tenure, I was instrumental in setting up a complex modular character pipeline and systems for both the Unreal Engine and Unity Engine. This involved working closely with the Tech Art Team to ensure the specific requirements for mobile devices and console games were met. Together, we strived to achieve optimal performance and visual quality, considering the unique constraints of each platform. Despite the cancellation, the experience honed my skills in team management and technical expertise, preparing me for future projects and challenges in the industry.
