I was trained to thread Steenbeck editing machines and splice 16mm frames, but I edit professionally on Avid and Final Cut Pro systems and specialize in tapeless workflows, particularly RED, Alexa, and P2 with experience in stereoscopic footage. My responsibilities have included cutting, sound design/mixing, pre-visual animation and graphics, dailies management, color correction, and DVD authoring.

Whether I am working on an independent or feature film, with a corporate communication company or not-for-profit organization, as an editor or instructor, I am committed to do my best work so others can achieve theirs.

    I was an assistant editor on A Dog's Purpose, responsible primarily for VFX tracking, shot turnovers and requests, feedback and note submissions from Editorial and Director, and functioned as a liaison between our vendors Mavericks and Blue J Animation to Editorial. I also created temporary VFX comps for previews and screenings. The film had just under 500 VFX shots, with all of them turned over and tracked by myself, as well as incorporating a tracking system for the VFX budget, and all footage requests from the vendors.

It was a 500+ VFX shot film, requiring 150+ shots to be turned over during my tenure on the film.
