    Generally, Animation Layout facilitates the smooth flow of shots through the layout dept & animation pipeline, providing technical support for all of animation and all dept's dealing with animation, helping to alleviate some of the Animator Supervisor's, leads and animators technical responsibilities.

    

Specifically, Animation Layout is responsible for verifying all elements needed for a production ready animation file. When all pertinent tracking data, Bg plates, sound, rotos, etc. are ready, Animation Layout will setup all Animation Files to achieve a consistent production standard, facilitate the smooth flow of all animation scene files through the production pipeline, and handle technical requests from animators, effects, lighting, tech anim and production personnel.

    I am additionally responsible for custom animation tool programming.
