  • Motion Graphic Lead

    No Limit Creatives

    December 2020 - Present

Being a leader requires a lot of responsibility. Being a creative lead requires creative thinking and an eye for details. I was appointed Motion Graphics Lead of my team, which helped me keep improving my creative skills and my problem-solving techniques.

I am responsible for keeping high-quality standards throughout our designs and clients. Being a lead often requires you to give 1-on-1 mentorship to junior designers, and help them problem-solve any issues they are having. Many times, the most challenging factor my team faces, is creative block. This is where I have to be at my best and help everyone understand briefs, how to address them, and what's the best way to get a successful full ad for the brief.

I am confident designing illustrations and animating them, in a way is both effective for a designer, and successful for advertisement. I have been animating for over 6 years now, and am able to come up with new ideas whenever we need some fresh design.

With a more leadership role, it was needed for me to understand the marketing funnel, how to target a successful ad, and what makes an ad generate more conversion rates, and drive more traffic. I've always said that being a skillful designer is different from being an effective designer.

I am always learning from the ones above me, and trying to replicate their work. Always open for new opportunities.

  • Freelance Motion Graphic Designer

    Freelance

    June 2018 - Present
    El Salvador

Working as a freelancer gives me the opportunity to work for multiple brands and clients, allowing my creativity to challenge itself and keep coming up with innovative ideas.

4 years ago, I started working with my first client, which was a huge challenge for me, back then. I had to learn how to professionally create a storyboard, and concepts for my client to approve. I had to rework this a couple of times before I decided it was ready to present to the client.

Working as a motion graphics designer, gave me the confidence to work creatively and improve my skills. This is a huge bonus for me when I start any new chapter in a new company as I am able to bring fresh and up-to-date ideas, to the team, in order to create a more effective and efficient work environment.

I've worked with local and international clients in multiple industries to provide relevant and effective designs. The most important skills for me are creative thinking and briefing. Anyone can learn the most powerful skills in Adobe but is the way you take those skills and make it into a powerful ad.

Feel free to contact me for any job opportunities :)

  • Motion Graphic Designer

    Happy Punk Panda

    August 2019 - December 2020
    San Salvador, El Salvador

As motion graphic designers, we need to keep up with today's trends. This was my first role in a top regional creative agency. Here's where I learned a lot about preparing for a brief, understanding the client's objectives, and how to translate those into beautifully produced designs.

My daily routine went very smoothly after I learned how to cope with the workload and prepare with a lot of time management skills. I had checked all design revisions the creative director made the previous day, and address those as soon as possible. I always find it best to address all short and quick revisions before addressing the new designs.

As a young designer, I was able to bring innovation to the team, by creating a more easy and efficient way to work with the team. One of the biggest skills I worked on here was my creative thinking, which is a full-on process I learned from the top industry VFX artists, and within my own freelance experience.

10-months later, I was promoted to mid-motion designer. Which I was able to help the team and new designers creatively and to address any major design issues.

    Happy Punk Panda

    January 2020 - September 2020
    San Salvador, El Salvador

I worked in an advertising agency as a 3D artist. One of the most challenging projects we worked on was the development of assets for production. As a creative team, we had a tight deadline, but it was our responsibility to prioritize each project to avoid delays, this came in-handy especially when there were 2 or 3 projects at the same time. It was important for me to follow all the instructions provided and work independently for the team to keep moving at a fast pace. We mainly use Maya, Arnold, and the Adobe Creative Suite programs. Some of the assets we had to create were hard and soft surface 3D models, it was a must to maintain accuracy and the highest visual quality. I used my previous VFX experience to increase productivity in our squad teams by leading with a pipeline methodology.
