I've got a solid eye for detail and a good brain for color and perspective. It's just supposed to look like it makes sense. Whether I'm a part of your team of artists or leading it, I have an infectious passion for getting it done.

For 20 months, I was the VFX Supervisor on the HD remastering of all nine seasons of the X Files. We composited over 3000 visual effects shots using completely new HD scans of the original negative. While supervising the team (which flexed between 3-7 people), I completed 800 of these shots myself.
Compositor (After Effects, Mocha, Nuke, Silhouette)
- Standard Fare (Chroma Keys, tracking, wire/rig removal, creation and comping of elements, explosions, blood, pew pew lasers, multi-pass objects, etc.)
- 2.5D modeling and manipulation, Element3D mastery
- Painting (traditionally trained, digitally applied)
- Large body of work with an emphasis on problem solving / reverse engineering with limited resources, and recovering maximum bang from degraded or lossy elements.
Pipeline/Macro/Tool Scriptor (AHK, Python)
Coordinator (Excel - not just how to get around, but how to write useful functions)
VFX Editor/Colorist (Assimilate Scratch, import and GUI scripting for ease-of-use)
QC/Assistant Editor (Flipper/Movie FS)
Before The X Files, I worked on the remastered VFX for Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the stereo conversion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
