I'm from New Zealand, and although I have travelled extensively, my 23+ years working in the film and TV industry have been almost exclusively in New Zealand, with just a short time in Australia and will be relocating to Spain in January 2023

I now have more than 23 years industry experience doing creature work using Maya and still enjoy daily challenges and working closely with other members of our small team of 12 on some of the best projects in the world

During the beginning of my 17 years at weta, I wrote the first version of the creatures costume pipeline in MEL under the direction of my supervisor, and still write python scripts and tools as needed, but generally enjoy my days setting up and simulating clothing, hair, feathers etc using Maya and working directly with developers on an in-house solver.

I also enjoy training and mentoring new recruits
