I am an Animation Director with almost thirty years of industry experience (currently at the Christian Broadcasting Network, having spent eleven years at Dreamworks Animation and five years at Blue Sky Studios). Whether it is film, television or video games, I have a passion to animate characters who have a unique and adventurous spirit, which I can relate. Some of my favorite characters whom I have animated include: Sid the Sloth from Ice Age, Megamind, the ambitious, yet naive villain, Turbo, the super-fast snail with a super-sized heart, and Sherman, the wide-eyed boy from Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Having had experience in both 2-D and 3-D animation, I have most recently led a team of up to 40 animators, based both domestically and abroad, on the children's series Superbook (five seasons), which was animated in Maya, and Gizmo Go, which has been animated in Toon Boom Harmony (two seasons).

My other talents include the ability to draw with any medium to express my ideas with a clear vision. I believe in strong communication with not only my fellow animators but also with the other departments in my company. I have also enjoyed mentoring up-and-coming animation students at Animation Mentor and introducing them to this rewarding profession.
