Senior 3d Character Artist & Modeler

Maere Studios is an award-winning visual effects and design studio behind films such as A24's The Green Knight (2021), Mother Mary (2024), Y2k (2024) Hocus Pocus 2, Knock at the Cabin, Origin, The Wanting Mare and Disney's Peter Pan & Wendy.

This is a remote and contract role for a senior character artist. We are looking for a highly experienced artist with a wide range of skills from Zbrush to Maya, with Marvelous Designer, Blender and Photoshop skills preferred. Artist must have proficient experience in large-scale animation features or series, as well as an understanding of facial and body rigging.

Qualifications:

-Experience in traditional animation pipelines are required

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

-Team-oriented, driven, with critical thinking

-Ability to work independently and remotely
