Mid Asset Generalist (1-2 month contracts)

We are currently seeking a Mid Asset Generalist to work on a short-term project with our Vancouver studio.
Responsibilities
- Creating realistic 3D models and textures and shading ensuring balance of technical requirements within our pipeline and the quality standards we are known for at Pixomondo.
- Working closely with the team and CG Supervisors to help plan and create assets
- Ensuring execution of the desired look and feel
- Ensuring assets devilled on time and optimized for performance
- Trouble shoot asset related issues, during render phases
Requirements
- 3+ years working experience in Modeling/texturing/shading
- Knowledge in Maya, ZBrush, Substance, Mari, Arnold
- Knowledge of Houdini and Solaris a plus.
- Knowledge of creature/character asset creation a plus.
- Problem-solving skills; including the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver consistently high quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong Demo Reel showing artistic sensibility, and creative problem solving
- Ability to work within a strong team environment, and willingness to share knowledge
- Experience in creation of layouts and modular assets for large scale environments, would be plus
