FX Artist

Maere Studios is currently seeking an experienced FX artist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality visual effects for TV and film projects using Houdini
• Work with the VFX supervisor and the rest of the team to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and seamless integration of VFX into the final product
• Maintain a high level of quality while working efficiently

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Houdini and its particle system, dynamics, and procedural workflow
• At least 3 years of experience in the VFX industry working on TV and film projects
• Optional but preferred: Knowledge of Blender and Cycles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality visual effects
