Developed, Designed and delivered learning programs for on-boarding, new hires, and continuing education programs. Learning topics ranged from technical and artistic skills to cognitive and soft skills.

    Over-sighted the learning and development activities for all production artists, developers and engineers, and overhead staff in the studio. Lead and managed all day-to-day educational operations at the Redwood City Studio (PDI) - including artistic development, guest speakers, videography and documentation.

    Led all educators across the entire company - responsible for their growth and development. Trained, mentored, coached and developed educators whose primary responsibility is to develop, deliver, and facilitate content. Moved the group from training to education - taking a more pro-active and wholistic approach to designing solutions that addressed the environmental issues that hindered learning and change. Developed a department environment where employees and management alike, felt safe to bring in challenges and ask for help.

    Worked closely with employees (students), leadership and management (studio and production), and creatives (artistic) to evaluate challenges and needs for development. Engaged in problem finding before problem solving as a matter of policy. Used design thinking methods to create and innovate solutions. This was one of the first attempts in the effects industry to produce film quality work without using SGI hardware or software costing tens of thousands of dollars.
