My job as On-Set VFX Supervisor was to help to develop the shooting process during the final stage of pre-production. After the script breakdown, we have made some significant changes, which made the idea completely possible and secure.
During the filming process, I was supporting the process, adapting to changes, helping the film crew working seamlessly, to be supported with the advantages of VFX techniques. Also, I was shooting the additional background footage on the FIFA footbal stadium.
During post-production, I joined the compositing team for helping to finish the VFX in 5 days deadline.

Project: feature war thriller "Siege Diary" (2021)
My job was to lead the compositing department at the small VFX-studio. The main goal for the 10-artists VFX crew was to create the CG-destructed city streets of Saint-Petersburg based on the real buildings and iconic locations.
I worked directly with the film director, film producer and VFX producers on the creative development of the shot layouts and all the aspects of compositing solutions for the VFX shots. Also, I was teaching and mentoring junior compositors and roto artists. My working responsibilities included building the master scripts for the other comp artists in the crew and executing the challenging compositing tasks by myself.
In most cases, a compositing shot resulted in a combination of greenscreen live-action footage, comp-based 3D texturing enhancement, the simulated geometry and particle systems, matte-painted objects and architecture CG-renders.
Due to the pandemic, the release date was delayed, but we were lucky to finish the job before COVID-19 broke out.
Mentioned in the credits as Lead Compositor based on the local understanding of the pipeline.
The final movie had a theatrical release and received a certain recognition at festivals. For example, winning the "Best Film" and the "Audience Award Winner" categories at the 2020 Moscow International Film Festival.

My job as a full-cycle VFX-Supervisor was to develop the VFX solution for the scene with tight collaboration with film crew key members.
During the principal photography, I joined the film expedition to support the film crew with new solutions during any unplanned situations and to keep the VFX plan reachable. Also, I was gathering all the survey data for the VFX crew, including shooting the high-resolution DSLR HDRI panoramas, textures, measurements, references, and 2D footages.
During post-production, I joined the compositing team to help meeting VFX deadlines, creating invisible photo-realistic VFX, including 3D DMP, CG integration, adding the atmospheric effects, and removing the unwanted elements.

12 episodes tv-series "Wings of the Empire", dir. Igor Kopylov (2017)
National prime-time release at "Channel 1 Russia".
This fiction drama in a historical environment required some practical FX solutions, miniatures shooting, and a lot of invisible VFX to hide any modern influence out from the real-existing rich range of architecture in Saint-Petersburg.
As pre-production VFX-Supervisor my job was to breakdown the script with key film crew members, to prepare the shooting process from the VFX-facility side.
During the filming process, I was supporting the film crew on 63 shooting days, including the film expedition, adapting the shooting process to the creative practical approach for keeping the VFX-workflow within the same budget. Also, I was collecting the survey data for the VFX crew, shooting textures, VFX-footages, and references.
Due the sequence-based schedule of shooting and VFX-delivery, I was forced to work on post-production stages between the shooting days for other scenes. This made my decisions very non-linear and adaptive to the overall progress.
During the last few months of the production, when the shooting days could be done without of on-set supervisor, I have taken the job of post-production VFX-Supervisor, delivering VFX of the series in collaboration with VFX-Editor and the film-company side post-production Producer.

Also I've translated the final film on english and equipted it with russian & english subtitles.
