- Wrote script using Python which provides an efficient way to see the difference between large Houdini hip files and copy nodes settings as desired
Madagascar 3 (Feature Film) 2011.3 - 2012.5
- Wrote the grass smoosh system to automatically calculate character force and contact area
- Built a feather system using simple math and physics calculation instead of expensive cloth simulation. It can process hundreds of feathers in real time
- Made gunshot effects completely by digital hand drawing
FX Challenge (Training) 2010.9 - 2011.3
- Wrote a ray-tracing project including soft shadow, color spill, ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing
- Wrote smoke and sparks animation in Python, rendered out and composited to feature film quality image. The animation is deterministic
- Wrote particle simulation in Python to simulate god ray effects and caustic effects underwater using in-house scripting language
