    The Animation Development Group is responsible for assisting the entire animation department globally across shows. We anticipate, design, build, improve & enforce both tools and standards for several disciplines; including rigging, education, workflow, communication and software. We assist in improving communication between animation and other disciplines, improving our speed and product quality. We specifically assist productions with advanced character development, specializing in facial rigging/blendshape systems. We also educate and assist new character leads in understanding the rigging process.

    Animation Production Technology Liaison (or "PTL") is a position held by one member of each department. We meet weekly to discuss and solve global issues with production workflow and technology. We each represent our department, offering our concerns and perspective on relevant issues.
