4 months out of art school he had the rare opportunity to take part in Phil Tippett's directorial debut along side a unique team of mostly 'green' digital artists. It was here where he was thrown into the fires as a digital compositor on Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation, this for Tippett Studio in April of 2003.
20 years later he's still in love with working in the trenches, building, creating, problem solving, & bringing both shots & sequences to life. Always striving to make things play well, absolutely integrated, & look as beautiful as fucking possible!!
Now established as an experienced Compositing Supervisor, he's helps shape & develop compositing pipelines, workflow, & execute best practices along side overseeing comp work on numerous shows & sequences working along side a talented team of VFX professionals that he learns from & is inspired by each day.
