I am a digital compositor and visual effects artist from New Zealand, based in London, (available from the 1st of August 2016) with 6 years experience working on international features, tv series and commercials, using both Nuke and Autodesk Flame/Flare.
My time in the post-production and vfx industries has given me strong creative and technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
I have a passion for all aspects of film, vfx and visual story telling, and I am looking to further develop my skills with creative and innovative companies doing great work.

Nuke compositor and Flare artist at the post-production facility Images & Sound. Nuke Compositor
Images & Sound
August 2012 - February 2013
I composited live-action footage, matte paintings, cycloramic sky's, and other elements for the Starz TV series Spartacus: War of the Damned. I worked on more than 80 shots with tight deadlines. As an external vendor for the production we were delivered Nuke setups containing 360 degree environments projected onto layered spheres and simplified geometry. We exported the required elements from this to take the composite to completion. A library of additional elements was also provided.

Senior Digital Media Centre Operator
Images & Sound
March 2008 - December 2010
As the Senior Digital Media Centre Operator at the post-production house Images & Sound my primary role was managing a small team to operate efficiently, ensuring that workflows and deadlines were met error free, and that work left the building to the highest possible technical standards.
The Digital Media Centre deals with a vast range digital video formats and the meticulous task of data management. Material is digitised and output using Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Studio and DaVinci Resolve for a wide variety of purposes, including broadcast, theatrical release, and web. It was a technically demanding role that also required sound communication, prioritisation and organisational skills to keep track of the company's many projects, past and present.
