I am a Creature TD working within the VFX industry making realistic creatures and characters for film.
As a Creature TD I have a passion for creating believable deformations and also writing tools in c++ and python to speed up my work flow and improve upon and create new deformers.

    In this role I have been Heading up TV London's Rigging team, making sure that we deliver high quality rigs in a fast paced environment.

    One of my main focuses has been to improve communication between rigging and the other departments that we draw on, or feed into. This has been particularly successful with the animation team, where through regular open and clear communication, we have been able to create rigs better suited to animators needs, thus improving efficiency and reducing the amount of time previously wasted 'fighting' with rigs.

    In this role I have also prioritised developing my skills and abilities as a manager of a team. I completed a leadership training course after being promoted to the position of Head of Department for Rigging TV and have created excellent working relationships with my artists, aiming to be a nurturing but strong leader of my team. Since taking on this role I have successfully improved the productivity and efficiency of the rigging department, an achievement I take great pride in, and believe this is due to my positive and motivational management style, effective communication and my efforts to build inter-departmental co-operation.
