  • Ecommerce Design Manager at CPP Group plc


    To manage and deliver the design output of frontend ecommerce deliveries for the Group’s digital team, from initial wireframing and Photoshop mockups through to HTML and CSS coding.

    Also key to the role is the management of in house designers as well as design agencies and vendors, vetting all output to ensure they are of relevant quality and standards.

    To act as a senior member of the Group’s digital team in defining the advancement of the department and the channel through UX and UCD best practices and implementation.

  • Senior Web Designer at Ebuyer

    • Lead a team of 4 web and print designers. Personally responsible for the design of large scale projects, whilst developing and encoring the innovative designs from individuals within the team.

      Large‐scale projects completed and commercial successes include:

      • Redesign and implementation of the Ebuyer.com homepage and header/search areas
      • Complete product page redesign and implementation to improve the customer journey
      • Introduction of Twitter to the organisation as a marketing/customer communication tool

  • Multimedia Graphic Designer at Continuum

    • Designed intuitive user interface graphics for kiosk interactives as well as providing photography (including QTVR), illustrations and Flash animations (where appropriate).

      Also responsible for the design, build and maintenance of both the organisation’s attractions and client websites using a bespoke CMS built in PHP/MySQL. Other responsibilities include various elements of print design and IT management.

    • Freelance Interactive Contracts included:

      BANC Leeds - Lacoste Pink / Boss / Baldessarini
      Contracted to create Flash screen designs/animations for the fragrance ranges listed above. Role incorporated the overseeing of other freelancers working within the project.

      Artts International - Website Contracted to rebuild Artts Skillcentre website.

      Centre for Educational Leadership - Manchester University
      Creation of the ‘Design and Development Process’ CD-Rom (Flash) including location photography and audio acquisition/editing.

  • Interactive Designer at BBC Worldwide Interactive Learning

    • Provided an extensive range of creative solutions for public sector learning organisations, ensuring that both interface designs and content are stylish, clear and navigable. Overseeing projects and coordinating freelance designers as required.
