As a freelance motion designer with 10+ years of experience I’ve applied myself across a variety of roles from solo directing, directing teams, and also working within teams. I generally work as a motion designer and animator undertaking various roles of production from technical director, 3d artist, design/styleframing, animation and compositing. I am consistently trusted to see projects through from start to finish with minimal guidance. As a self-confessed geek I’ve always loved nothing more than pushing After Effects to the limits and more recently I have started to develop tools for workflow automation using expressions and scripting.

    Pacemaker is a 9 minute 3D animated musical short about a lonely widower awaiting a Pacemaker to save his life who gets his real second chance at true love by opening his heart and accepting his grandson’s identity. Starring Alex Newell (Tony winner from Broadway) and Phil Lawrence (Bruno Mars), Pacemaker, the first animated musical with a trans teen as the main character.

    Working with a small yet exceptional team on this independent project has been a great honor and an invaluable professional experience.

    The story of the ultimate underdog -- Bernie Ecclestone -- and his quest to turn Formula One into a televised global super-sport. His extraordinary journey also reveals the story of a fundamental conflict: the balance between pursuit and money.

    Collaborating with the studio crew was an exceptional and unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was positively charged with cheerfulness and camaraderie, making it an absolute pleasure to work alongside such a talented team.
